Ah, the run-up to the new year. Let’s start off with reviewing the best websites of 2005. Yahoo! Picks brings you some pretty unusual gems, apart from the usual fare. My personal favorite, Science magazine’s list of 125 questions in science that still vex us. For all the wildlife fans, there are the amazing videos on National Geographic’s WildCam Africa. And if you are in the mood for some music, that is, testing your own (non-existent) talent in it, don’t miss Mr. Fastfinger: Guitar Shred Show.

Thankfully, for a change, Blogger (Google) has gone in for a redesign of the BlogThis! button editor page of Google Toolbar. Though it is cosmetic, it is much more lively than the staid one which existed earlier. It makes the interface more Blogger and less of some downmarket company. Check the page out yourself.
