Online TV pushing the web to ‘breaking point’ –

Google has accepted it finally – it may not be such a bright idea to have the Web as a platform for video content delivery. Maybe it’s from seeing YouTube’s storage and bandwidth bills that it now has to foot [snigger snigger]. And for those like Abhishek who sent me mails of how ‘Google is moving towards world domination’, and that they’ll use their infrastructure to deliver the content to users, here comes a wake up call – Google’s own head of TV technology accepted that their own infrastructure couldn’t handle it.

Personally, I don’t think IPTV is such a good idea…
