Google’s Picasa WebAlbums now offers more storage to users, upgrading from 250 MB to 1 GB. In an interesting thing, it shows up as ‘1 GB and counting’, which means it could probably be going the Gmail way.

This would definitely come as a big blow to Yahoo!’s Flickr, which by far the most popular photo sharing site. However, with it’s monthly bandwidth limit of 100 MB (earlier it was an even more measly 20 MB), it might find the going tough.
