MIT to offer its courses free online by year end – Yahoo! News

All its courses free? Wow! That’s some NEWS. As a part of its OpenCourseWare project (please note – OPEN), MIT (yes yes, the Massachusetts one, not Meerut Institute of Technology) is going to give ALL it’s courses online by the end of this year. The only glitch – no degree, or contact with faculty. But hell, it can be a great place for all high school students to sample the sort of things they might want to take up in college. It’s going to be really handy reference place for all higher level studies.
