The invites for Code Wars 2007 – The Sixth Annual Inter-School Technology Symposium were dispatched today. So all you geeky folks will be receiving it soon, but in case you don’t, you can download these right now:

One advice to all people who’re thinking of coming – read the invite very carefully. You never know what stuff you might find there…

    The invite and rules are really cool. soBIG.F is going to rock.I don’t know if any other school uses ANSI C++,not a big issue though.

    code wars was cool last year!

    The invite is so darn tempting I’d have given anything to come.Unfortunately my parents generosity extends only upto allowing me to work for DX2K7.I am under something of a house arrest…sniff:-((Boy do I hate to miss the cw c/ws and stuff.
    Would you guys have the same Quiz master as last year?

    My 2 cents : the 42 points rule is just unfair and stupid, I mean that’s 42 points lost on luck for schools who might have some of their team members fall sick or have emergencies.

    A really short sighted rule ! , it would be a shame if any of the top 3 places were decided in this way.

    @Tikna: 42 points is less than a third place position, yet substantial enough to make a difference in the overall points tally. We did this so that the people turning up for the surprise event aren’t decided AFTER we declare the event details. We want people who can multi-task. Since the event will be substantially technical (here here, this is a useful snippet…) we want them to know the details before coming to the event, and yet be good at multi-tasking by making teams choose their best people blindly.

    @Anon: Bani Das knows…we have her consent in this regard. ;)
