We won Exun 2007, and since then the Code Warriors have been ‘Pavna Powered’. The Pavna Power PC we got has become the hub of all CW activity, for we (finally!) have a dedicated - as in DEDICATED, not-even-teachers-allowed-to-touch-it sorta dedicated - PC at their disposal. Might add here, it runs on Ubuntu Linux 7.10 for extra security from our badly virus-infested school network.
Some things. For example, have a look at the serial number…

…boy, a special number for Exun? Either this is ultra special, or (more likely) the company’s very small. Anyway, another funny thing is, on the mouse it’s written ‘Manufactured for IBM’. I wonder how it found its way here…

It’s good to know that I seem to be finally getting wiser. My wisdom teeth started coming out way back in class 9th, and then it seems they thought I was too dumb and gave up. Now suddenly, one of them, the lower right one seems to have decided its time to get some wisdom into me, and is making life hell for me. Boy, I’ve to sit like Dorth Darth Vader, breathing through my mouth the whole time.
I just hope this new-found intelligence helps me out with sucky schoolwork…
I’ve been going on-and-on about personal website hosting a lot these days, so post was on the cards. I must admit, you might feel that when you start off blogging in a big way that you don’t really need a web host and can live with free file hosting services, but believe me, having your own host makes a lot of difference in how flexible your content can be.
Burton Website Hosting is one of these companies which have been around for some time, and quite frankly, their offerings are pretty good. Starting with a ~$7 / month plan for the personal hosting plan, going all the way up to dedicated hosting et al, they offer a lot of bang for the buck.
Most importantly, they seems to be one of the more sensible hosts around, because there are quite a few which promise a lot playing on the fact that most people won’t use as much resources as they promise in their plans. Most importantly, they are very open about their resources, even giving network utilisation info for people interested in their hosting to check out.
